She is a fluent Spanish speaker and grew up in Colombia and Puerto Rico and decided to join the research project in Milken to help other Spanish-speaking families. Camille’s passion for working directly with people emerged during her two years as a technician at an ophthalmology clinic and as a clinical research assistant at the GW Hospital Emergency Department.

Camille is dedicated to community service and has organized 1,000-plus hours of service events per semester for university members with various non-profits. During her two years as a volunteer tutor, she discovered her passion for working with children and improving their health outcomes. Camille is excited to be a part of DBI.
