Marin Jacobwitz, Ph.D., CRNP Research Associate and T32 Fellow

Marin Jacobwitz, Ph.D., CRNP, joined the Developing Brain Institute in July 2023 as a Research Associate and T32 Fellow. Marin has a clinical background in pediatric neurocritical care, focusing on the neurologic complications of congenital and acquired heart disease. She completed her Ph.D. at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. Marin’s postdoctoral research focuses on placental abnormalities associated with birth defects, specifically congenital heart disease, and how the placenta influences neurodevelopmental outcomes in children with prenatally diagnosed congenital heart disease.
