Rachata Boonkrongsak, M.D. Fellow

Rachata Boonkrongsak, M.D., joined the Developing Brain Institute (DBI) as a Fellow in September 2023. Dr. Boonkrongsak is interested in improving long-term outcomes for newborns with brain injury. Her primary clinical research focuses on intraventricular hemorrhage and posthemorrhagic hydrocephalus in babies born preterm. Dr. Boonkrongsak’s goal is to enhance therapeutic efficacy for better outcomes. Prior to joining DBI, she completed her pediatric neurology training at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Boonkrongsak has been practicing as a pediatric neurologist at the Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health, also in Bangkok.
