Stephanie Wells, Mommy&Me Virtual Mommy Meet-ups co-facilitator and Stakeholder Engagement Core member, is a home healthcare professional [and, for more than 20 years has provided customer service through various occupations. Stephanie is also a ] DC Primary Care Association context expert, mother of five, grandmother of two and a Founding Member of Moms’ Collective Wisdom, focus group members whose comments shaped this study proposal. She brings firsthand experience giving birth in Washington D.C., including not having worked with a patient navigator until her fifth pregnancy. Stephanie has provided motivation across generations – young people, pregnant women and women of the same age who have lacked access to a full range of diverse resources. Each project she has worked on has continuously motivated her to make a positive impact on the lives of young people, including her four daughters, one son and two grandchildren - in the hopes they do
the same for the young people surrounding them and the ones who come after.
