Katherine L. Wisner, M.S., M.D., joined the Developing Brain Institute at Children’s National Hospital in October 2023 as Perinatal Psychiatrist. Dr. Wisner is internationally recognized as an expert in the treatment of mood disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period. She has received over $23 million from the National Institutes of Health and has more than 280 peer-reviewed publications (h-index=67) and 23 book chapters.
