Desiree D’Souza, M.D., M.S., is a Child Neurology Fellow who joined the Developing Brain Institute at Children’s National in June 2025. Dr. D’Souza’s current work aims to deepen our understanding of early brain development and apply these insights to enhance clinical practices in the neonatal intensive care unit, potentially leading to better developmental outcomes for this vulnerable population.
