Cannabis Use During Pregnancy and Lactation
OB-GYNs should be aware of the possibility of pregnant and lactating patients’ use of cannabis and be prepared to counsel and screen patients and use evidence-based strategies to reduce cannabis use, according to a Clinical Consensus developed by an American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists’ committee.
Six-Part Community of Learning Series
A six-part Community of Learning series offered by the AIM TA Center and the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health will support effective implementation of the AIM Perinatal Mental Health Conditions Patient Safety Bundle with a focus on obstetric and other maternal health providers in the outpatient setting. The third event in the series, “Centering Families and Communities: The Mother-Infant Dyad,” will be held Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. (ET).
