CYNTHIA GRAHAM, BA Lead Perinatal Care Coordinator

Cynthia Graham, BA, in March 2022 joined the Clark Parent & Child Network Prenatal-Neonatal Pillar’s DC Mother-Baby Wellness Program and in 2024 was promoted to Lead Perinatal Care Coordinator. Cynthia is a graduate from Trinity University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She has more than 16 years of experience managing maternal programs. Cynthia has a passion for working with children and families, making sure that children get the best start in life. She has worked with a variety of programs, such as Healthy Start, Healthy Families, Teen Mothers Take Charge, Early Head Start and HealthySteps. Cynthia structured and managed a grant-funded program in Prince George’s County, “Babies Born Healthy,” whose goal was to educate African American and Hispanic

women of child-bearing age about the importance of preconception care and to link them to a wide spectrum of services. Most recently, Cynthia worked as a Perinatal and Family Services Coordinator for MedStar where she excelled during her one-year tenure and was recognized as Employee of the Month. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Developing Brain Institute and is excited to be a part of the Children’s National team. Cynthia abides by this motto: “Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.”
