MATTHEW T. WHITEHEAD, M.D. Attending Radiologist, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Matthew T. Whitehead, M.D., is an Attending Radiologist with the Department of Radiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining CHOP, Dr. Whitehead was a pediatric neuroradiologist in the Division of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology and served as the Vice Chief of Radiology academic affairs at Children’s National Hospital. His clinical and research interests include fetal MRI evaluation of structural brain abnormalities, neurogenetic disorders and metabolic diseases that affect the brain. Dr. Whitehead is a three-time Golden Apple Award winner for superlative teaching.
