Jennyfer R. Baldeosingh, BA, MPA, joined the Developing Brain Institute in September 2024 as Program Director for the DC Mother-Baby Wellness Program. With more than 19 years of experience in healthcare administration across the private and public sectors, Jennyfer brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hofstra University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University.

Facility. Additionally, as a U.S. Navy Reservist, she serves as a Healthcare Administrator and Medical Logistician, playing a key role in ensuring unit readiness and providing standardized, flexible combat support, along with medical and dental capabilities for forces deployed from ship to land.

For more than three years she previously served as a Practice Manager, overseeing clinic operations for the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s National Hospital. The combination of Jennyfer’s educational background and professional experience fueled her return to Children's National, where she is deeply committed to integrating her passion for mental health with her operational expertise. She is especially dedicated to advancing access to perinatal mental health services, working to improve support for mothers across the Washington, D.C., community. With a focus on enhancing care and reducing barriers, Jennyfer is eager to contribute to the growth of programs that prioritize the mental well-being of mothers during the perinatal period.
