SHAMA EDWARDS Prenatal Pediatrics Scheduler

Shama Edwards joined the Developing Brain Institute (DBI) in September 2023 as the Prenatal Pediatrics Scheduler. Shama is a native of Washington, D.C., with family roots in Jamaica and the Bahamas. She transitioned into the healthcare field in 2013 after receiving her Medical Assisting certification and is now pursuing certification in Sonography. Shama has 10 years’ experience as a medical assistant, scheduler/administrative assistant and is excited to be supporting the DBI team.
