Mariam M. Said, M.D., has been Medical Director, Neonatal Intensive Care, at Reston Hospital Center since 2019. This affiliate neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of Children’s National Hospital in northern Virginia brings expert care of one the nation’s top NICUs to families closer to home. Dr. Said’s scholarly work includes collaborations with industry partners for studies involving extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn, as well as clinical research collaborations between the department of surgery studying necrotizing enterocolitis.
